Join us on FRIDAY for a conversation with Dr. Hadi Halazun, one of the many Arab-American doctors at the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Halazun wrote a passionate letter that went viral to his division after a week of being in charge of a COVID-19 ICU at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. A cardiologist, Dr. Halazun wrote: "Today, we are all Covid-19 doctors. Your appointments are canceled, and our offices are closed. We’ve been called to the frontlines.” He made an urgent appeal to all to the COVID doctors urging them all to support the "true frontline troops are the nurses, the respiratory therapists and the physician assistants” who are "at the highest risk of getting hurt in this war.”
